Summary: The room was nice but not almost 900.00 a night nice. We spent 3 days there and for the money it was a disappointment. Nothing special about the room. For the price we paid I expected a lot more. No special toiletries or snacks not even the special hot chocolate they had provided in our stay in the Spring when rooms were half the price. They only provided one bathrobe and no magnifying mirror in the bathroom. I did appreciate the bottle of champagne upon our arrival for our anniversary but they could have done so much more for what we paid. I was also a little upset when we went down to get our free drink at happy hour and was poured about 3 Tablespoons of wine because it was the end of the bottle I mean really for what we paid she should have opened another bottle. My husband did receive a full beer. We made reservations for all three nights at the restaurant and after the first dinner we canceled our other reservations and went to the Riverhouse and got way better food for 1/2 the price of the Lodge. The bartender at the Lodge did a great job with the cocktails they were balanced perfectly. The food nothing special at all in fact my dinner wasn’t even good…flavorless. My husbands steak was just ok. The view is spectacular but next time we will go across the street for 1/2 the price you still get the beautiful view and save 400 a night.

Summary: The area is amazing and the views spectacular. For the cost of the hotel, unfortunately overall the staff and the customer service is heavily lacking comparatively to the amount it costs to spend a night there. From arrival I don’t think there’s much warmth and welcome. Not a lot of guidance and help. For this type of establishment it’s important to have a warm front desk, good communication about the amenities and the ensuring the room and the place is comfortable and that everything is well. The room and view was outstanding and the room was clean and was breathtaking to see the water and rock, the capes. My girlfriend did say she was disappointed with some of the salts and extras for the bath tub. The biggest complaint was I had planned a proposal for my girlfriend and wanted to keep it very

Summary: I booked this hotel as a special "treat" for a family member and myself. First visit to Oregon let alone the Oregon coast. Front desk team was terrific! Great demonstration of hospitality. Service at the bar (which is a hot spot with a great view) was terrible on more than one occasion! We sat at the bar, one seat away from another couple at the bar that was engrossed in a conversation with two of the bartenders for at least 15 minutes. We finally had to interrupt the conversation to ask for service. Two other visits to the bar left something to be desired as we ordered top shelf vodka and got well vodka but charged for the more expensive kind. Beautiful hotel and alot in the plus column however, at the nightly rate paid, I would expect EVERYTHING to be next level!

Summary: We just stayed at the Headlands, it was amazing! I had read reviews and they recommended the top floor and they were right our room was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and an amazing view of haystack rock and the beach from our ocean front balcony. The Meridian Restaurant was fantastic and Pelican brewery shares a parking lot with the lodge. 10 out of 10 We would definitely stay again!
